Yea Old Blog
So, its been like what… over a year since my last blog post on here. Decided it was time for me to bring it all back.
When I first started getting some recognition on youtube, I pulled all my blog posts down. Basically, I was worried about what kind of personal information was in there. Now I really dont care as much, and miss a lot of my old writings.
So, I have dug up some of my favorite old post and made them public again. Poke around and Enjoy. You might find something surprising in there.
An Update And An Intro

So I put in my bubba teeth today and started working on a character for the Christmas show at the Grey Goose. I started thinking about the stereo type these bubba teeth get. Always the hick. Don’t the british stereotypically have bad teeth as well? This is what resulted.

Camp Videos
So this past week I was a counsler at camp. I also headed up media and tought a media class with my brother. Each day i had the classes write and shoot a short video. I did some editing this weekend. Here are two of the videos.
Confessions of a Wayward Blogger
Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I have neglected the word. Again…
Lately… blogging for me has been much like righteousness. I strive for it. I encourage it. I even like to be labeled as a blogger. But I often let other things get in the way. I commonly think “oh this would be a good thing to blog about.” Then say, I’ll take care of it tomorrow. My time of “setting aside” often gets set back a day or two… then a week or two… What has it been now? Over a month!
I think we tend to act the same way when it comes to spiritual matters. “I went to church Wednesday.” “I will read my bible in the morning.” “I will read the bible tonight.” “I just watched touched by an angel, I’m good for now.”
We can all learn a thing or two from Nike: “just do it!”
Intro To Radio
The morning of Wednesday, June 7th, I woke up at 4:00 am, kicked around the bid till 4:30 and then got ready to be at the studios of The Current FM in Virginia Beach by 7:45. I was invited to join J.P. and Missy of J.P. Morgan in the Morning to talk about Jump’s block party that night.
Flash forward a week and a half to this morning at 4:30. I woke up at my grandfathers house (the one he doesn’t live in) and prepared to be at the studio once more. This time at 6:30.
By 7 am I was back on the air and introduced as the newest member of The Current Crew. That right, I now work at a radio station.
What a blast.
We had some good conversations about relevance, outreach, and of course sex and sexuality. The biggest thing we pushed was for parents to get involved in their kids lives and talk to them about sex, as well as other issues.
I will be back on Friday morning from 6:30 am - 10:00 am est, and seven days a week after that (same time). For those of you outside the VA Beach area (you lucky if you can get it in Hampton or Newport News) you can listen online at currentFM.com.
