During the months of October and November a youtube friend of mine Morgan (usticks555) and I put on a little fake feud. Yes people it was fake. Please, I hope no one is shocked. I never would say half the “insults” I made in those videos.

Anyways… I’ve been meaning to post this playlist of the videos we did in our little “feud.” Now you can watch it right on through and not miss anything.

So, just got a youtube profile comment form Morgan (Usticks555).

your up to something aren't you

I only have one thing to say to this:

Yes

Let the rumors began! All will be revealed in just over a week.

The Ember Days

For the last year now, I have been attending a church that meets on Sunday nights. For 20 years of my life Sunday mornings were always consumed with running around and getting ready for church, THEN running around DOING things for church.

This new found free time on Sunday mornings has become a time of weekly quiet and reflection. The one point in the week where I can relax and meditate (meditate sometimes means sleeping).

Morgan Hochstetler (Usticks555) introduced me to this AWESOME worship band The Ember Days. This group has been my music of choice on Sunday mornings… or any other time I want to relax and go into a quiet reflexive mood.

I HIGHLY recommend you check them out. Even if you do not consider yourself a Christian, their music is AMAZING and you might juuuusssst enjoy it.

Find them using the linkage below:

OH! And if you want to know what I’m listening to… check out my lastfm account: lastfm.com/user/karpadiem

I have a really bad flu (cold?) right now. I’ve been through all of the achy body stuff. I’m done with the hot and cold flashes (hum, maybe its menopause). Im even sleeping somewhat normal now.

Now its at the point where I am draining… a lot.

Tonight I’m hanging out at Aromas, a local coffee shop chain, to get some writing and planning done. I told the guys here that I’m having a bit of a nose/throat problem. So, they concocted this tea that is supposed to help with a runny nose. However, I have this sneaky feeling… I’m not using it right.

arromas has this tea that is supposed to help with a runny nose. Im not sure im using it right.

AND YOU CAN’T HAVE IT!

So, apparently mom and dad got me this for Christmas and forgot about it. They remembered and gave it to me this week. :) Yes. It was kept cold. It was fine.

This thhanngg was HUGE. Yes, I (with my rather big mouth) had an incredibly hard time eating it.

But I managed. :)

So, nearly two weeks after bringing home our christmas tree, we decided it was time to bring it inside and decorate. Mark and I both have our own decorations from childhood. That always makes for a very interesting tree. We were joined by the lovely Lady Laura and our friend Jordan. As always. It was a incredible night. And yes, we took pictures.

Mark explaining the tree.

We shook the Tree and this guy fell out.

Mark and Jordan getting the tree in the stand. I’m responsible for the holiday cheer!

The Tree got angry and chopped off all our legs.

Like I said, I was on cheer patrol. Oh, and don’t worry about the tumor on Jordan’s arm. The doctor says its benign.

I just have an angel on each shoulder.

…but loves the Santa!

The Garmrozeo’s and their tree.

Apparently, something was funny.

Apparently, when your ears are pierced, you are supposed to wear ornaments. I was not aware of this.

But I am now very much aware of this fact.

I think this should be our christmas card.

So, yes, we had a wonderful time. Im not looking forward to UNdecoratingg though.

three amigos

Saturday morning Mark (my roommate), Laura (don’t ask, its complicated) and myself drove out to Suffolk to bag a few christmas trees. One for the Garmozeo home, and one for Laura’s house. Our farm of choice was Santa’s Forest & Nursery. It was so much fun!

I can remember going to pick out (precut) trees with my parents and brother as a kid. But picking out a fresh tree… its a whole new experience!

Our three member sudo family always has a fun time together. I thought I would share a little of the magic.

Of course… sadly the time will come when our trees will have to be “discarded”. But we have fun with that to. :)

PS: Thank’s Laura for the wonderful pictures!

OK! Two things!

1. My shampoo has been really frizzing my hair out lately.
2. I found my long lost bag of wigs today.

That is all.

So, with this crazy career choice I have made (youtube and other social media), I often wonder:

Will there come a time when I am too “old” to be relevant to the majority demographic of social media? When do I need to just hang it up. How will I know when I’m ‘Trying to hard?

Apparently, as the video below shows, I really don’t have to worry about that.

You can bet that I’ll be doing the same at 80. You just watch.

Now, here’s another thought… could a 40 year old do this video and it still be considered funny?
